A consortium is an association of two or more individuals, companies, organizations or governments (or any combination of these entities) with the objective of participating in a common activity or pooling their resources for achieving a common goal. In this way, our institution is member of INDEST-AICTE consortium.
Inter Library Loan
Inter Library Loan (abbreviated ILL, document delivery, or document supply) is a service whereby a user of one library can borrow books or receive photocopies of documents that are owned by another library. Our library is the institutional member of the libraries of Anna University Chennai and British Council Division, Chennai.
Our Students and Faculty Members of our Institute can borrow books or receive photocopies of documents that are owned by another library through DELNET Memberships.
DELNET was started at the India International Centre Library in January 1988 and was registered as a society in 1992. DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. It aims to collect, store, and disseminate information besides offering computerised services to users, to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible.
